These terms cover moving, packing, and storage services provided by Brooklyn Best Movers, based at 758 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232, to customers who book through brooklynbestmovers.net, by phone at (718) 502-7431, or in person. By booking a move with us, you agree to the terms below.
Quotes and Pricing
Hourly local rates, flat-rate bands, and long-distance estimates are based on the information you give us at booking — inventory, building access, and move date. A significant change in any of these (added items, a walk-up that turns out to be an elevator building, a different address) can change the final price. Piano moves are a flat $295; gun safes run $250–$385 depending on weight.
Deposit and Cancellation
A $175 deposit holds your date and crew and is credited to your final invoice — it is not an additional fee. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact the office as early as possible; deposits are refundable with reasonable notice and non-refundable for late cancellations, which the office will confirm at booking.
Building Access and Paperwork
Where a building requires a certificate of insurance, an elevator reservation, or a specific parking arrangement, we coordinate that directly with the building management office ahead of your move date. Delays caused by a building’s own paperwork requirements that were not disclosed to us at booking may affect scheduling or pricing.
Insurance and Liability
Basic released-value coverage is included on every job at no charge. Full replacement-value protection is available and can be added at your in-home walkthrough. Claims for loss or damage should be reported to the office within a reasonable time after your move.
Storage
Items placed in our Sunset Park storage facility are billed at the flat monthly rate quoted at intake ($125 for a studio/1BR, $185 for a 2–3BR, $260 for a 4BR or larger) until removed or delivered.
